Shirley is a transformational speaker, life coach, and expert on the topics of work/life harmony, life balance, power of self-renewal, and career/life transition. She is the author of 2 blogs: 30’s & More, and the soon-to-be launched Uplift All Moms, and a contributing writer for, and 


Congregational Church of Northridge – Internal Coach & Trainer – 2008 to present

  • Designed and led visioning retreats for ministry teams and key leaders 
  • Worked with Lead (Executive) Ministry Team in strategic planning, and implementation of vision elements 
  • Facilitate conversations between newly paired co-leaders for healthy working relationships including training on leadership presence
  • One-on-one strengths/values/passions discovery sessions with leaders and congregants to determine best ministry fit
  • Instrumental in turning around a highly conflicted community during a time of congregational discord


Shirley’s coach training, study of neuroscience, personal psychotherapy, and her own life experiences combine to inform all aspects of her work. She is a Board Certified Coach, receiving her advanced coach training from The Coaches Training Institute. She is a member in good standing of the International Coach Federation (ICF), the worldwide governing body of professional coaches.

Previous to this, Shirley enjoyed a successful career in public accounting working with high profile entertainment and alternative medicine clients. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business/Accounting from The California State University, Northridge.

Shirley lives in Northern Los Angeles with her husband, 2 daughters and their animals, Rambo, and Peter.
